UGA  Ecuador


This study abroad programs in Ecuador is offered by the University of Georgia through collaborations between the Departments of Entomology and Horticulture.  It offers the unique opportunity to participate in field-work or in community-based service-learning projects related to community health, agriculture, sustainable tourism and environmental preservation along the Chocó Andes Biological Corridor.   

Students will spend 18 days in Ecuador participating in science-based hands-on activities.  Students will stay in a wide range of eco-types, from rainforest to coastal lowland to the glacial region of Ecuador.  Transfer students are welcome.
